My band (Some People) is focused on pushing the boundaries by deliberately reducing conventional music cliches down to bare bones. Each band member brings decades of focused listening and passionate playing to the table... er, studio/stage. Unleashed, and having nothing personal to express, we seek freedom where space opens up and the music flows despite our individual foibles and proclivities. As Wayne Shorter once said, first you have to learn everything you can about the process of making music, and then you have to forget it all.
