The thing you fail to grasp is that bots are fundamentally different from apps. Apps have evolved as means that allows humans to serve themselves. That’s an extremely awful way to go through life — we end up resembling hamsters on a wheel, constantly browsing the web, checking and rechecking deals on expedia, etc. Horrible.

Bots arrive as a rescue, because their role is to eliminate the self serve model and replace it with a full serve model. With bots, we’re not serving ourselves, we are being served by the bots.
