Whether interacting with a human customer representative, with a GUI (a web site or an app), or interacting with a human or artificial valet, things are prone to go wrong regardless. It is our responsibility to deal will all kinds of oddball cases etc. I don’t see why would using artificial butlers or valets or bots all of a sudden be deemed as more error prone. If anything, bots are more responsive to our needs and more respective of our frailty, and being super attentive, should provide us with a more reliable and more consistent overall shopping etc. experience.
