This article falls short in that it’s blaming tech for merely producing cutesy, chatty, fun loving experiences. Why stop there? Why not call a spade a spade and blame tech for the Syrian refugee crisis? Surely we all remember how awesome the world was before Apple introduced Siri. And look at our world now — Donald Trump, Syrian refugees, everything seems to be going to hell in a hand basket.

Would it help if we fired all male programmers (brogrammers)? At least the young ones? I’m not really convinced that’ll help, because new ones will get hired. But can we put a permanent ban on hiring all male programmers? That ought to fix this horrendous problem.
