After a very long hiatus (that got prolonged by that miserable 2020 pandemic that stole more than two years from everyone), I felt a strong need, nay, a strong urge, to get back to playing music with a band. I instantly remembered my friend Tomasz Michalak, a great drummer with whom I have had previously been in discussions about playing together. That plan got kiboshed by the aforementioned pandemic. But this time, Tomasz was luckily ready to go!
Him and I met and discussed the future music making possibilities. Luckily (again), Tomasz managed to pull in his good buddy Jan Mascini, a brilliant engineer and keyboard player. The three of us clicked immediately, and the core of the band was formed. Drums, keyboard, and guitar. But we felt the band wouldn’t be complete without a solid bottom end — electric bass.
I reached out to my old friend Jamie, a seasoned bass player, but he just got a new and very demanding job, so he declined the offer to join us. Next thing, I remembered my old buddy Aurelio D’Amico, with whom I played music 20 years ago. Aurelio is also a keyboard player, but can play the bass if asked nicely enough.
To cut the long story short, Aurelio gracefully accepted to join us and on a historic (tongue firmly in cheek) January 21st, 2024, the four of us got together to lay down our first tracks.
Now, what’s amazing, after releasing our first album on January 25th, we continued playing and in the span of only two months, managed to release five more albums! Our sixth album, “Spring”, was recorded on Sunday, March 24th, and released on Monday, March 25th.
To many, such hectic pace may seem like mad hyper-production. But to us, musicians in the band, it does not feel that way. We feel we’re simply expressing the music that lies within us, and it has to get out. We are playing spontaneously, our vision is genuine, and we keep experiencing joy, ecstasy, gratitude every time we get together to play. The music seems to be endless for us.
Here, in chronological order, are our first six albums:
We hope you’ll enjoy our music making art/craft!
